Introducing “The Color Garden”, a collaborative project consisting of a letter pressed artisan grow chart to aid you in growing your own natural dye plants. The chart is easy to follow, providing all the information you need, from identifying the plants, sowing the seeds, selecting the perfect site, harvesting, and creating the dye. We have added a key at the bottom of the chart denoting whether the plant is a native wildflower, pollinator friendly, or requires a mordant when dyeing. Our project also  includes letter-pressed informational plant profile postcards filled with historical insights into each of the plants featured. These beautifully rendered pieces are the perfect addition to any plant, fiber, and garden enthusiast’s resource library.

These letterpress posters and plant profiles were locally printed at @studioonfire and have such stunning texture. We have added in hand-painted watercolor swatches to give you an idea of the color you can achieve using each plant as a natural dye. 

This listing is for the grow chart only. You have the option of buying either the grow chart or plant profiles separately, both of them together as a pair, and adding on the bundle of seed packets of each of the plants featured in the grow chart (grown and harvested by Alejandra Sanchez of @awoolenforest and Kendra D. of @knittyvet) providing you with everything you need to start growing these magical plants in your own garden!
